Ms. Salas's Helpful Study Tips
1. Don't cram for the exam the night before. Each day, focus on small chunks of information. For example, on Monday, focus on studying the preamble, on Tuesday, focus on reviewing the Articles of Confederation, on Wednesday, focus on the Bill of Rights etc.)
2. Create a study group. Its always nice to have people who can help you study and quiz each other. Your parents and siblings can quiz you too.
3. Make sure to get a good night's rest before the test.
4. Make sure that you have a good breakfast the day of the test. It should be something that is not too heavy, but keeps you filled. Fruits, juice, oatmeal, toast, and eggs are always a nice choice.
5. Keep calm. Learn to take deep breaths as you prepare for the exam. Take breaks from studying every once in a while. A short walk is also a good idea when studying becomes too stressful.
6. Think positive. You can do it!
I believe in you!
